ISLAMABAD On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan emphasized the importance of enhancing their bilateral cooperation, especially in the fight against drug smuggling and the resolution of common security issues.
The event occurred during a high-level meeting in Riyadh between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and his Saudi colleague, Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif, when they discussed cooperation and shared security interests.
Both leaders emphasized enhancing bilateral cooperation throughout the meeting, especially in the fight against drug smuggling and other common security issues.
Naqvi and his party were cordially received by Abdulaziz, who also reaffirmed the kingdom’s commitment to standing with Islamabad.
“Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan during challenging times, and we deeply value this enduring partnership,” Naqvi responded, highlighting the close religious and familial ties between the two countries.
