NEW YORK: Politician and Indian-American businessman Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy made a discriminatory statement highlighting PIA Investment’s Roosevelt Hotel in New York.
Notably, US President-elect Donald Trump selected Ramaswamy, a close friend of Vice President-elect JD Vance, to improve the US administration’s performance, according to a Monday story in The News.
Ramaswamy’s political and financial statement is biased because the administration of New York City Mayor Eric Adams not only rented the Roosevelt Hotel to house illegal immigrants, but also more than 100 major and small hotels in the city limits to meet the need for 14,000 rooms.
