BELGRADE: According to local media on Wednesday, a shooting event at a nearby restaurant claimed multiple lives in a tragic incident close to Cetinje, Montenegro’s medieval city.
According to Montenegrin Vijesti TV, which cited the nation’s police, a fight broke out at the restaurant before to the shooting, killing several persons there. After leaving the restaurant, the gunman—who is still at large—shot and killed two toddlers on the street, according to news portal CDM.
At least ten persons were slain, according to a police official.
Prime Minister Milojko Spajic of Montenegro referred to the incident as a “terrible tragedy” and announced three days of national mourning in a live television broadcast from outside a hospital facility.
He stated that four individuals had died, but he did not specify how many people had died.
