According to a statement released on Monday by the local airline CemAir, the influencer’s disdain for “safety regulations” resulted in a ninety-minute delay for the aircraft.
It went on to say that the pilot had to put an end to the “already running engines.”.
Ms. Mosaka recorded the exchange on Instagram Live but did not reply to the news request for a comment.
The influencer presents on the Base South Africa music channel and has over 140,000 Instagram followers.
On social media, the video has received a lot of shares, and many people are supporting Ms. Mosaka.
She makes an effort to defend herself and get other passengers to agree with her that she wasn’t being a bother.
Then, since the cabin attendant has not given a good enough explanation for her actions, Ms. Mosaka claims that the incident seems to have been motivated by race.
“Racial profiling” did not happen, Laura van der Molen, Chief Financial Officer of CemAir, told The Citizen, a local newspaper.
