Even after almost ten years in the spotlight, SZA still finds being in the spotlight to be “weird.”
In an interview with Extra to promote her film One of Them Days, which she co-starred in with Issa Rae and Keke Palmer, the 35-year-old singer talked about her complex relationship with fame.
SZA, whose full name is Solana Imani Rowe, clarified, “Some people are very well acclimated in being perceived and also have a different mechanism to approach that.”
“Even when the cameras are on, everything just kind of flows because Keke has this crazy network of mechanisms,” she added.
“For me, it’s a little harder to like be so comfortable when I don’t really know what is happening,” the Open Arms hitmaker added. I never grew up.
