The death toll in Gaza rises to 23,357

Since October 7, Israeli attacks have claimed 23,357 Palestinian lives, according to the Gaza Strip’s Health Ministry. Another 59,410 people have sustained injuries. According to the ministry, 243 Palestinians were hurt and 147 people died in the last 24 hours. Not included in the official death toll are the approximately 8,000 people who are missing under the debris and are thought to be dead.
