According to information News was able to obtain, Mr. Danker, who left the company in April 2023, settled with the struggling business early this year for a sum of six figures.
According to some sources, the deal was valued at around £500,000.
The amount, which has not been made public, seems to contradict a statement made earlier this week in the CBI’s annual report and accounts that £188,000 had been paid for director severance expenses in the previous fiscal year.
According to a City source, this suggested that a portion of Mr. Danker’s payment would probably be disbursed in the years that followed.
A CBI representative stated: “The CBI resolved a lawsuit Tony Danker filed against the agency following his termination in April 2023 in February 2024.
Regarding the agreement made between the parties, neither Mr. Danker nor the CBI have any additional comments.
