According to information News was able to obtain, Mr. Danker, who left the company in April 2023, settled with the struggling business early this year for a sum of six figures.

The amount, which has not been made public, seems to contradict a statement made earlier this week in the CBI’s annual report and accounts that £188,000 had been paid for director severance expenses in the previous fiscal year.
