A man who may have been involved in an attempted murder of President Trump on Sunday at his West Palm Beach golf club has been charged with two federal felonies involving firearms.
At a town hall meeting in Flint, Michigan, 48 hours after the incident, he remarked that being president is a “dangerous business” and received questions from supporters.
“This is a dangerous business… being president, it’s a little dangerous,” he stated.
“They believe that driving a race vehicle is risky, but they also believe that riding a bull is frightening. No, this is a risky line of work.”
The FBI has confirmed that suspect Ryan Routh,58, did not fire any bullets during the event, even though the Secret Service had revealed he was within a few hundred yards away. Mr. Trump was not injured.
Only a few weeks after he was shot at during a rally in Pennsylvania, the FBI claims that an investigation is still in its “early stages” and that many questions remain.
The man is currently fleeing for his life, and his car is perhaps a block away or something. and he added, “A woman driving a car saw a man running on the street. She followed him, and after he got inside the car, she stopped thinking he was trouble.”
