KARACHI: Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the caretaker prime minister, recently shared some humorous advice on handling family and social problems. Among his suggestions was that a guy should marry the lady he likes, even if he is eighty-two years old.
On a social media site on New Year’s Eve, PM Kakar was asked a lighthearted question about whether a fifty-two-year-old man ought to wed the woman of his dreams.
Kakar said, “Of course, even if you are 82, do consider it,” in response. The prime minister responded to a question about what to do with a crazy mother-in-law by saying he would probably need to take a crisis management course.
In response to another question on how to impress someone without any money, the acting prime minister said he had never sought to impress anyone in his life but had always been impressed by a lot of people.
Kakar responded to a query about the dilemma of leaving a lover behind in order to take a truly good job overseas by saying, “I guess you get love by chance and job according to your ability.” You’ll have the opportunity to be hired based on your qualifications.
He was also asked to respond to the topic, “Are girls attracted to men with political power?”
“It’s better if the girls ask the question instead of me, but I guess the answer is maybe yes or I’m not sure,” the PM retorted. I’m not sure I know the answer at all.
