KARACHI: The News said on Monday that police had provided additional information regarding the horrific killings in Karachi’s Lyari neighborhood that resulted in the deaths of four ladies from a household.
Speaking at a press conference alongside Investigation SSP Tauheed Memon, District City senior superintendent of police (SSP) Arif Aziz confirmed the arrest of suspect Bilal. He stated that the suspect, a divorcee, was allegedly in love with another woman whose family required that he provide a separate house before marriage.
The information was revealed after the suspect had previously admitted to “confessed to killing his mother, sister, niece, and sister-in-law”.
SSP Aziz provided details of the incident on Sunday, stating that Bilal took a statement from the police after they spoke with all of the family members.
