At least 21 people were killed when the storm struck Oman over the weekend. On Tuesday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) had its worst rains since records began in 1949.
A statement from the Department of Migrant Workers in the Philippines stated that two Filipina women perished after dying inside a vehicle amid the floods in the United Arab Emirates.
The department also stated that a Filipino man lost his life when his car plunged into a sinkhole in his native nation.
Additionally, a 70-year-old Emirati man perished when floodwaters in the northern Ras Al Khaimah emirate carried his car away.
The number of people killed by the storm in the United Arab Emirates is unknown as no information has been released by the authorities there.
