In her new autobiography Cher: The Memoir, Part One, the renowned actress and performer recently spoke about her complex connection with Bono, who died in 1998.
Cher disclosed that during a difficult period in their relationship, Bono had employed a private investigator to follow her.
Cher remembered telling Bono that she was interested in a musician named Bill.
In her post, Cher disclosed Bono’s fears: “Ever since we’d first started living together, he’d been secretly convinced I’d leave him one day.”
After packing her things, she went to a friend and pleaded with Bill to accompany her to the airport.
