A group that was extorting money from Karachi’s shops and cooking centers has been arrested by authorities.
A guy named Faraz was recently caught in Delhi Colony while obtaining a fifty thousand rupee extortion payment.
During a press briefing, Special Investigation Unit SSP Shoaib Memon revealed the breakthrough, stating that the gang is made up of Malaysian family members.
WhatsApp messages received from Malaysian phones were used to target shopkeepers, and Faraz has multiple cases filed against him at different police stations.
While accepting a hundred thousand rupee extortion money, he was apprehended. During questioning, it was discovered that he is employed by Saboori, the Malaysian extortion ring’s female boss.
