Officers said that Clejuan Williams, 36, of Toledo, Ohio, was hospitalized on Sunday after attempting to teach his kid how to reverse a car.
His father allegedly instructed the child to press down on one of the pedals while he was behind the wheel, but the child was unsure which was which.
Mr. Williams was standing near the car’s open door when the vehicle swiftly reversed, according to footage from the local television station.
Mr. Williams was slammed down and dragged beneath the car as it drove rearward, and it only stopped when it struck a pole in the roadway.
The individual was subsequently transported to the hospital by Toledo Fire and Rescue personnel. We don’t know his condition.
According to a court document, Mr. Williams was accused of being drunk at the time and is being charged with endangering minors and wrongful entrustment of a motor vehicle.
