Private Hajj tour companies have achieved an agreement with the Ministry of Religious Affairs that allows them to start accepting Hajj reservations.
Bookings for private Hajj tour companies are currently open through January 31. However, the Hajj Formulation Committee’s approval is required for Hajj packages costing more than 30 lakh rupees. A spokesman for the Ministry explained that companies that sell Hajj packages for more than 30 lakh rupees are also have to submit their FBR information.
In addition to meeting the increasing demand for private Hajj services, the new regulation seeks to guarantee openness and expedite the Hajj procedure.
