Piers Morgan recently discussed Prince William’s “wild” activities as a teenager.
The famed journalist remembers meeting Princess Diana during a private lunch and wrote about it in his Sun column.
Piers claimed they met at Kensington Palace when the Princess of Wales asked whether he wanted William, now 41, to join them.
The presenter stated that Diana told him everything about her life as William was “eyeing” them during their conversation.
According to his observations, William was “polite, intelligent, and mature-beyond-his years” as well as “very close” and “protective” of his mother.
Piers then said that the moment William “asked for a glass of wine” had stuck with him.
He recalled Diana saying, “No.” “What are you thinking?” William responded: “But Mummy, I drink it all the time.”
“Erm, you don’t actually, and you can’t have any!” she exclaimed nervously, to which, according to Piers, William replied, “Yes, I do, and I can!”
