According to the military’s media wing, five terrorists who were members of the outlawed Fitna al-Khawarij gang, a ringleader, were killed in an intelligence-based operation in the Maddi, Dera Ismail Khan, area on Friday in response to reports of terrorist activity.
Inter-Services Public Relations revealed in a statement that Shafiullah, also known as Shafi, was the deceased ringleader.
Additionally, the ISPR reported that “weapons and ammunition were recovered from killed khwarij, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as target killing of innocent civilians.”
