ISLAMABAD: According to a report the interior secretary filed with the Islamabad High Court (IHC), the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government helped the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters use machinery to clear roadblocks and forcefully enter the federal capital city.
The protesters were told to obtain legal permission to demonstrate in Sangjani, according to the report. When they didn’t accept it, they were given the opportunity to demonstrate at the specified location without requesting permission, but the march continued into the D-Chowk neighborhood, it continued.
The IHC received a report from Interior Secretary Captain (retd) Khurram Ali Agha regarding a contempt of court issue concerning the Islamabad of the former ruling party.
