By disclosing what he no longer learns on Britain’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell has corrected the record.
The 65-year-old English TV personality joked in an interview with The Sun that while his initial objective was to “find a superstar,” he now saw the show as an opportunity to give performers their “moment” when they might not typically have a large stage.
“Since series one, I have had a different perspective on things. When I started, I thought, ‘You have to find a superstar.'” Cowell stated.
“And, of course, we always hope we will find someone who’s going to have a mega, mega, mega career,” the former American Idol judge continued.
