The acting head of the Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sajid Tareen Advocate, has charged that Senator Qasim Ranjho, his son, and his chauffeur were kidnapped by “government officials.”
Tareen further stated that Naseema Ehsan, the BNP senator, had lost communication with her husband and kid, who are also suspected of being abducted.
In a related event, Balochistani lawyer’s associations have voiced their objection to the planned constitutional modifications, claiming that the measures are being driven by the establishment.
They argue that similar kidnappings of senators and their families would not happen if this were untrue.
To finalize the 26th constitutional amendment, parliamentary committee meetings are now in session, and the administration is conferring with different political parties during this time.
