ISLAMABAD On Monday, an accountability court declared that the verdict in the £190 million lawsuit against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, the founders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), would be made public on January 6, 2025.
Today (December 23) was the initial date for the decision announcement, which was postponed last week. But this morning, the court declared the deferral.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has accused the former prime minister, his wife, Bushra, and others of creating a loss of £190 million to the national exchequer through a deal between the PTI administration and a property mogul. This case is also known as the Al-Qadir Trust case.
