According to a new survey released on Tuesday, Pakistan’s score on the 2024 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) has dropped two points, from 133rd in 2023 to 135th out of 180 countries.
On a scale of zero (extremely corrupt) to 100 (very clean), 180 nations and territories are evaluated by Transparency International’s CPI report according to the perceived levels of corruption in the public sector.
Transparency International Berlin releases the CPI every year, and TIP is not involved in data collection or score calculation, according to a statement from Transparency International Pakistan.
