ISLAMABAD According to sources who spoke to Geo News on Monday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has reached out to the office of National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, asking him to call the third round of negotiations with the government.
According to the sources, Sadiq has assured the PTI that the third session will be held soon and that he will discuss with the opposition and the administration on the matter today.
After considerable uncertainty that appeared to have caused the continuing talks with the government to halt, the former ruling party’s negotiation team eventually saw its imprisoned founder, Imran Khan, at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Prison one day ago.
