In the interbank market on Tuesday, the rupee lost 15 paise in value relative to the US dollar, finishing at Rs278.65 as opposed to Rs278.50 the day before.
The Forex Association of Pakistan reports that the open market buying and selling rates for the dollar were Rs278.5 and Rs280.06, respectively.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the price of Euro decreased by 35 paise to settle at Rs301.57, down from Rs301.92 the previous day.
The British Pound saw an increase of Rs1.22 in exchange rates, closing at Rs358.17 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs356.95, while the Japanese yen dropped two paise and concluded at Rs1.79.
