History is about to be made by Ed Sheeran.
The Shape of You singer is scheduled to make history as the first foreign vocalist to perform in Bhutan as part of his current Mathematics tour.
On Friday, January 24, 2025, he is scheduled to perform in the Himalayan monarchy at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, in front of an anticipated 15,000 spectators.
The Times newspaper interviewed one of Sheeran’s admirers for the show, which is still set as announced, despite concerns that it would be canceled due to a forest fire that started on the city’s outskirts.
Since few wealthy people in Bhutan can afford to travel overseas to see such a concert, it is appropriate that it be held here.
