John “Paddy” Hemingway, the last surviving pilot from the Battle of Britain, passed away on Monday at the age of 105. King Charles paid tribute to him on Tuesday.
In honor of John “Paddy” Hemingway, the Band of the Coldstream Guards performed the Battle of Britain March and the Royal Air Force March Past during the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, according to a statement released by the palace.
The British royal family also posted a photo of the Hemingway and a band video on their social media accounts.
At Buckingham Palace, King Charles pays tribute to a British veteran.
