Following his son’s martyrdom, Shaheed Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood’s father has spoken of his undying pride and resiliency. Attack native Lt. Uzair Mehmood gave his life in Thira while valiantly battling the Khawarijs.
He underlined the great importance of martyrdom in his speech to the country, saying, “The death of a martyr is the life of the nation.”
He emphasized the land’s holiness, which is enhanced by the martyrs’ blood and immeasurable sacrifices.
“I have two more sons and I am ready to sacrifice them also on this soil,” he declared, indicating his willingness to carry on the tradition of sacrifice. His remarks were met with a strong sense of dedication to the nation’s cause and patriotism.
