Local media said that a shooting occurred at a short-term rental house in Harris County, outside of Houston, on Saturday, leaving at least three persons shot dead and two injured.
When authorities arrived on the site, they discovered two bodies; the third person passed away from their wounds in the hospital.
According to local media KPRC 2, Katy was in a state of chaos when the police arrived.
The victims’ identities were kept under wraps by the authorities, but they did say that most of the attendees were in their twenties.
At a press conference, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez stated, “We believe this was a small gathering that turned deadly.”
