Here is what we currently know about the 14 people killed in the New Year’s Day attack in New Orleans: a well-known American college football player, a young aspiring nurse, and a mother of a four-year-old. The names of the victims are being made public by their families and relatives pending the completion of post-mortem examinations. The suspect, 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, was shot dead by police. Former Princeton University football player Martin “Tiger” Bech, who was in his late twenties, was a former Princeton University football player. “There was no more appropriate nickname of a Princeton player I coached,” said Princeton football coach Bob Surace.
