RIYADH: AC Milan overcame a two-goal deficit early in the game to upset Inter Milan 3-2 in an exciting Italian Super Cup final in Riyadh, thanks to Tammy Abraham’s injury-time winner.
Lautaro Martinez gave Inter the lead at the conclusion of the first half, and two minutes after the interval, Mehdi Taremi extended their lead.
Five minutes later, Christian Pulisic equalized ten minutes from time, and Theo Hernandez scored straight from a free kick to give Milan a one-goal. Abraham shocked Inter by scoring the game-winning goal late in the game, which appeared to be headed to a penalty shootout.
