There was a backlash when the Madonna Celebration tour concert started in December, according to reports. The pop singer is currently being sued by several concertgoers for beginning the show late.
Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, two residents of New York City, filed the complaint in federal court in Brooklyn on Wednesday.
The Grammy winner is accused of breaking the agreement in the case. The three Celebrations tour dates for the Hung Up vocalist in New York were advertised as starting at 8:30 p.m. However, they noted that the shows began later than 10:30p.m.
The fans complain that because the event started late and concluded late at night, they had to deal with “limited public transportation, limited ride-sharing, and/or increased public and private transportation.”The lawsuit states, “Defendants knew that any statement regarding a show’s start time constituted, at best, optimistic speculation, and Madonna had demonstrated flippant difficulty in ensuring a timely or complete performance.”
