All of the airline’s shareholders were invited to attend, and the PIA management promised to keep them informed about all significant matters, including the airline’s potential privatization.
The shareholders will be informed of all the privatization initiatives during the meeting.
On Friday, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb declared that the government has given the privatization of the PIA top priority. He was speaking during a Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ceremony.
Aurangzeb declared that the administration was accelerating the privatization process day and night.
He also mentioned positive developments in Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) privatization. He also stated that, as part of larger initiatives, the privatization of distribution businesses, or discos, was being studied.
