The Newark MP stated in a study he co-wrote for the center-right think tank Centre for Policy Studies (CPS) that the government has to “undo the disastrous post-Brexit liberalisations” that have “betrayed” the public’s desire for less immigration.
Ahead of the impending general election, he suggested a variety of measures to be put into place, such as dissolving the Home Office to establish a department that is more concerned with border security.
