In a police complaint, a girl who had been placed in sub-prison under section 406 of the Pakistan Penal Code claimed that jail superintendent Shehryar Khan had assaulted her after summoning her to his office.
The court of additional district and sessions judge suspended the jail official’s BBA, which was obtained from a local court after the FIR was registered, on Monday.
According to Imtiaz Shah, SHO of the Battagram City Police Station, the police had filed a complaint against the defendant in accordance with PPC sections 376 and 506.
