In Lahore, a 7-year-old boy was shot and murdered by a security guard for ‘trespassing’.
The event took place in the Chohang region of Lahore. The boy, who was playing cricket nearby, went to the farmhouse to get some water when the guard—who was later identified as Nazir—opened fire, killing the child instantly.
According to the authorities, Nazir was caught trying to escape to Okara. The gun used in the shooting was found by the police.
The father of the child has lodged a complaint, resulting in the matter being formally registered.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), Nazir had told the youngster not to drink the water from the farmstead just a few days prior to the disaster.
When the child came back the day of the event, Nazir shot him.
