ISLAMABAD The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman, Rashid Mehmood Langrial, warned prospective under-filers that they would be in for a rough ride because the tax system would be heavily biased against them and prevent them from completing significant transactions.
“Those engaging in large-scale transactions will not be permitted to purchase real estate, drive cars, or manage bank accounts,” he declared on Thursday night’s “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath” show on News.
He stated that the government will make the moral choice to eliminate the non-filer category on October 14, which would be the final deadline for filing taxes. He declared that big transactions would not be allowed for the non-filers.
