According to Reuters, Elon Musk, the owner of Neuralink, has announced the debut of an improved chatbot under the start-up Artificial Intelligence business xAI, following his incredible achievement of implanting a brain chip into a human brain.
The new version, dubbed Grok-1.5, will be made available for early testing to current Grok users as well as Musk’s social networking platform X, according to a statement released by xAI on Thursday.
The company stated: “One of the most notable improvements in Grok-1.5 is its performance in coding and math-related tasks.”
The goal of xAI, according to Tesla’s CEO, was to develop a “maximum truth-seeking AI” by March of last year.
Grok was made available to premium X customers in December.
Features of Grok-1.5
greater at resolving mathematical issues
While Grok 1.5 demonstrated a notable improvement by achieving 90% on the GSM8K benchmark, Grok had established a baseline of 62.9% on the test. On the HumanEval benchmark, it likewise received a score of 74.1%, indicating better code generation and problem-solving skills.
Gaining better comprehension of lengthy texts
Longer text passages can be processed by Grok 1.5 than by Grok 1. 4.
In his lawsuit filed earlier this month, Musk accused OpenAI CEO Sam Altman of breaching a contract by abandoning the company’s original goal of developing artificial intelligence “for the benefit of humanity broadly.”
