KARACHI: According to The News on Friday, a group of Chinese investigators with a high degree of expertise visited the port city and examined the scene of the recent suicide bombing that took place close to the airport signal, targeting a Chinese delegation along with their security convoy.
The magazine was informed by sources that Pakistani investigation officials briefed the Chinese inquiry team on their findings subsequent to their visit to the bomb site.
The Chinese team was notified by the Pakistani authorities that the assailant could not enter the airport with his truck packed with explosives because of the tight security measures in place. He executed the suicide attack close to the airport’s exit signal.
Along with gathering some of their own evidence from the location, the Chinese investigators also looked at the data gathered by Pakistani agencies.
