RAWALPINDI: The verdict in the £190 million lawsuit against Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, the founders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has been postponed for the third time and will now be made public on January 17.
Judge Nasir Javed of the accountability court was disappointed that the accused did not appear, stating that he had been at the court since 8:30 am and that this caused the verdict to be postponed.
Khan has earlier stated that the verdict was delayed in order to “pressurize him.” It was first delayed on December 23, 2024, and then again on January 6, 2025. But he didn’t show up for court today.
