Since the boil cannot be quenched in this case, experts advise that Prince Andrew be “cut off” permanently.

“The late Queen made a start by stripping Andrew of his HRH and retiring him from Royal duties” and the withholding of money for protection at Andrew’s residence, “should be the next step” she says.
Though not particularly difficult by most measures, Ms. Vine said that “hopefully this would force him to move to the less ostentatious Frogmore Cottage which would at least be a step in the right direction.”
But she also said, “But even that wouldn’t, I suspect, lance the boil,” before she ended.
