Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of Iran, began a two-day official visit to Islamabad on Monday to talk about the changing Middle East scenario and bilateral ties.
The Foreign Office (FO) said the Iranian FM will meet separately with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during his visit.
“This visit offers a significant chance to promote collaboration and communication between Iran and Pakistan on a variety of topics, such as trade, energy, and security,” the statement continued.
One insider told The News that in addition to talking about the regional situation, Araghci’s meeting with Dar is anticipated to touch on the forthcoming Islamic Summit in Saudi Arabia.
