Police said the criminals attempted to steal money and valuables from the trader and his brother as they were leaving their store and heading home.
They attempted to thwart their raiding attempt. The robbers opened fire during the altercation, resulting in the trader’s untimely death and his brother’s injuries.
Following the encounter, the robbers made their getaway. After transporting the deceased and injured to the hospital, police arrived at the crime scene on information and began their investigation. To find the robbers who were running away, police started a manhunt.
