Following social media fears about Abida Parveen’s health spurred by a viral video of the icon sitting in a wheelchair at an international event, the iconic Sufi singer’s team has reassured followers and admirers of her well-being.
According to her team, “the queen of Sufi music” was sitting in a wheelchair while reciting “Man Kunto Maula” at the National Museum of Qatar in Doha.
Many people admired and applauded her recital, but they were also concerned about the singer’s well-being because they saw that she was seated in a wheelchair.
The followers were reassured that the Sufi icon was healthy and that the wheelchair had simply been used for convenience when her team took to Parveen’s Instagram account to address the problem.
