In two separate sessions conducted at the Supreme Court on Friday, the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) finalized the nomination of two applicants for appointment as extra judges for the Islamabad High Court (IHC) and three for the Balochistan High Court (BHC).
The supreme court in Islamabad’s conference room hosted the two JCP meetings when nominations for the appointment of new judges to the IHC and BHC were discussed.
The majority of the commission’s members at the first meeting nominated Muhammad Azam Khan, a district and session judge, and Inaam Ameen Minhas, an advocate for the Supreme Court, for the aforementioned positions in the Islamabad High Court.
Advocate Supreme Court was unanimously nominated by the JCP at the second meeting.
