As 2025 approaches, exciting new developments are in store, such as the emergence of a new generation known as Gen Beta, whose members will be born between this year and 2039.
According to Axios, many members of Generation Beta will survive into the twenty-second century, experiencing more significant and unpredictably occurring technical developments and severe climatic disasters than their closest ancestors did.
Other than Gen Alpha, which was born between 2010 and 2024, this generation will be the second to be born wholly in the twenty-first century.
The term “Generation Alpha” was created by social researcher, demographer, and McCrindle Research founder Mark McCrindle of Australia. He predicted that Beta would be the second largest cohort, with an estimated 2.1 billion members, after Alpha’s two billion.
