Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Information Advisor, has declared that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) employee who hoisted the American flag during a party gathering in Swabi will face legal punishment.
Tension erupted among participants at the PTI rally as an employee unexpectedly waved a US flag. Supporters in the area demanded that he drop the flag as soon as it appeared and that the show end.
As visitors pointed at the flag, the situation grew more heated, and nearby workers attempted to take it by force. The worker lowered the flag after some scuffling.
Since then, a video of the incident has gone popular on social media, eliciting conflicting responses.
In response, Barrister Saif clarified that the PTI opposes the flying of the US flag.
