The songwriting and music production team, which includes Matt Aitken, Mike Stock, and Pete Waterman, is criticizing American pop diva Sabrina Carpenter.
According to Waterman, it is “offensive” that the singer dressed like a “little girl.”
“They’ve [women] won all of their freedoms and their rights, women,” he told The Sun. The way I see it, they battled for all they have, and now they are discarding everything.
It’s simply insane. “Don’t come on in a G-string if you’re asking for respect,” Waterman added.
Stock asserted, “I would never try to write a lyric that said anything specific on a sexual level,” in reference to her lyrics. You would constantly use allegory or make some sort of reference to it.
