Greetings, Haya
I recently graduated from engineering school, and because of the state of the employment market in Pakistan, I made the decision to travel overseas on a study visa at the beginning of June, ideally to the UK. Somehow, my father had made arrangements to pay for that.
Everything was OK up until my parents began experiencing panic attacks when I arrived in London. They believed that I would never move back to Pakistan permanently. Their health started to suffer as a result of their growing concern.
I was devastated by their state and on June 19 I made the decision to go back to Pakistan. But it’s had a terrible impact on my mental health. I’ve applied to drop the course I planned to do, and I’m currently residing in Pakistan.
