LONDON: Almost three years of self-imposed exile came to an end on Saturday night when Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif arrived in London, United Kingdom.
Nawaz, the former prime minister three times, is in the UK for medical care.
Many PML-N supporters, including Ahsan Dar, the recently appointed president of the party’s UK branch, and others, greeted the seasoned politician with open arms in London.
Additionally, a number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers gathered in front of the Avenfield apartments and chanted anti-ruling party chants.
Both PML-N and PTI employees used derogatory language against one another as the PML-N leader arrived at his apartments in Avenfield.
