In the first ODI between Pakistan and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), former all-rounder Yasir Arafat bemoaned the quantity of extras bowled by the national team bowlers.
Arafat said on X (following Twitter): “Defending a low total of 204 while bowling 17 wides.”
Arafat went on, “That’s just giving the game away.”
“Discipline with extras is everything!” he said, emphasizing the importance of maintaining discipline while carrying out the bowling plans.
In Friday’s second ODI against the Australians in Adelaide, Pakistan will want to regain their approach.
